I bought this book during my vacation in a tiny town where there was no choice, when I run out of reading. There was obviously a Amelie Nothomb, that I took. Imagine how I felt.
The story: a man finds himself with an unknown corpse on their hands. Rather than call relief, he fled, taking the identity of the dead. He met the wife of the deceased with whom he stayed and drank champagne all day long.
Basically, it is and frankly it makes no sense. If I was vulgar, I would say that this novel is a true foutage of mouth. But as I am polite and well brought up, I would simply say that Amelie Nothomb's really disrespectful to his readers by writing, somewhat sloppy, this novel.
Cause I really had the feeling of reading a book sloppy, written on a corner table with a view to the famous literary season which sell and make money. She did not even made the effort to invent improbable names to the protagonists as she is accustomed.
Amelie Nothomb
I know no lack of talent, as much as I loved Fear and Trembling. I know she has disappointed a lot lately, I understand why.
What is his latest opus?
