Sacramento Glory Holes?

Beautiful Golden Globes

with tradition, last night I threw a look at the beautiful dresses of the actresses at the Golden Globes. Each year, the gala kick-off gives the following, and especially to new trends in evening gowns.

Here's what I selected.

In the "I can almost see your navel!" Is the winner Halle Berry, who has certainly made some men drool (including mine! Hihi).

Special mention to Olivia Wilde, who wore a beautiful dress with black sequins signed Gucci

In the category "I also followed the trend asymmetrical, they were many to display of beautiful dresses. My favorite goes to Jennifer Garner, with a Versace creation which showcased her svelte figure.

I also really liked the Valentino gown slit up the thigh of Jennifer Aniston. But please, can a hairdresser could give him a new haircut? It has the same hairdresser for ten years!

In the "Cinderella going to the ball," the beautiful Sandra Bullock donned a diaphanous dress of Bottega Veneta, whose style is not really mine, but many graduates will definitely crack this spring. However, I give my approval for the electric purple hue that suits him admirably.

Among my other favorites, there were Reese Witherspoon and Jodie Foster, but unfortunately I did not find any pictures.

Finally, in the category "Quossai that?", The winner is Drew Barrymore, who had stuck two hedgehogs with the surplus of her dress Versace. Phew, we can forget!

And you, what were your favorites?

Elegant Trouser Suits For Ladies

I pamper my belly

Recently, I made a break at the spa Infinima , about trying to care for pregnant women. With my little 7-month belly, I could relax and soothe minor injuries thanks to my expert hands of Suzanne, who was trained specifically for pregnancy.

I liked his approach fresh and confident, which I immediately put in trust. After a one hour massage, I extended the fun with a pedicure, a flirtation that becomes difficult to realize oneself when more flexibility is there! Buoyed

and pink nails, I left the spa with a smile! In short, I suggest to all expectant mothers or new mothers why not! Pamper your belly!

If you want more info on massage for pregnant women, read my column this morning beauty in The Sun .

2010: the end of haute couture? My resolutions

That's the question I asked this morning in The Sun . A month

after the announcement of the house of Christian Lacroix to end his department sewing, tumultuous and fragile fashion world still seems shaken.

Especially because, within two or three years, several major designers of luxury homes founders retire. Oscar de la Renta is 77 years, Karl Lagerfeld and Giorgio Armani 76 years to 75 years. We know in the past, the succession has not always been easy.

There remain optimistic, for luck. As people of CHANEL, which provide a positive assessment of 2009 and expect to increase their sales in 2010. I sincerely wish them.

I think high fashion is an art in itself. This is the essence even fashion design. Where all the excess and audacity are allowed. It has its raison d'etre.

But it is also an area that needs to be renewed. For that, I say welcome to the falls a bit irreverent style popcorn with Issey Miyake and Martin Margiela in mind!

Long live fashion in 2010!

And you, do you like high fashion? If you were offered a creative, how to fashion house lean?

(me, I hesitate between a Balenciaga jacket, a dress or an Armani Chanel suit! Sacred dilemma!)

PS The National Museum of Fine Arts in Quebec starting in February will present an exhibition on the golden age of haute couture. Must See!

Does Amylase Work In Acidic Conditions?

fashion and beauty

Happy New Year dear friends surfers and fashionistas! I wish you a year filled with small joys in everyday life, balances and new trends!

As is tradition, I also took some fashion and beauty resolutions. They are:

- Read more labels carefully and choose, when possible, local products and environmentally friendly. (I did it already, but there is always room for improvement !)

- Encourage more designers and filmmakers. Objective: discover a new claw each month and include it in my columns.

- Side beauty and health, as I am a new mom in March, I intend lose weight gained during pregnancy during the coming summer. The image of Sarah saw yesterday in the CA series does not suit me at all! ;-)

- Be more tidy and look after my manicure . Since last fall, I rediscovered the pleasure of colored varnish and I count to continue this new habit. And most importantly, keep my manicured fingers (phew! It will be harder with a baby!)

Want more ideas of how resolutions? I invite you to read my column the month on the site Laurier !

And you, what are your resolutions?
